The rational mind excels at making estimates. It forms opinions based on the facts and figures before it and makes a prediction based on what has happened in the past.
It is the rational mind that says, “I can’t.”
When we come to Earth, we forget that we were the miracle creators. The painters of skies and the weavers of dreams. We put on a costume of helplessness and our rational mind, helps us to complete the transition to human life.
We do this because our souls longed for a delicious challenge. One that would get our hearts thumping and turn our “helplessness” into power and creative magic. We take on this task to learn, to grow and to evolve.
While turning off the rational mind is not a good idea, we can discipline it. We can remind it that just because something has never happened, doesn’t mean that it can’t. We can tell it that as we change who we are, we change the future we are creating.
Instead of letting it calculate gloom and doom scenarios of a scary future, it can be put to work calculating the next step in the process, memorizing positive affirmations and turning “impossible” into “I’m possible.”
Be loving to your rational mind, but just as you would be to an undisciplined child, be firm. Tell it, “We are now going to make our dreams come true. We would like your help, but you will not be allowed to interfere.”
If doubts creep up, call your Angels in to have a talk with your rational mind. They can be very persuasive, and they are always on your side.
