Children have a natural innocence and imagination. It is sad that we guide them away from that as we indoctrinate them into society.
We call their dreams, silly and say they are irresponsible for playing all the time.
Then we grow up, feeling as though something is missing in our lives. We read books, attend workshops, and take medications in order to fill the void inside us.
In the Bible, Jesus is quoted as saying, “Truly I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God like a child will not enter it at all.” The innocence and faith that we take away from children is the very thing that is necessary to get to the next level in our spiritual growth.
As a child, our work was our play. This should not change as we grow up.
If you find yourself not living the life of your dreams, then ask yourself, “When was the last time I dreamed?”
