Child’s Play!

The fears, phobias and disorders we have as adults develop in childhood.

We take them into our lives, our relationships and our careers.

A feeling of not being “good enough” to make the baseball team, or being picked last, may lead to a feeling of insecurity of going after the job you want, or seeking a promotion.

Being frightened by a bad fall may cause a fear of heights. Watching your parents relationship may lead you down the same dysfunctional path in your romantic life. Being made fun of for being different may cause a fear of trying new, creative things.

These life events are stored in our brains and affect our inner child. Your inner child is the part of you that holds your ability to trust, love and dream.

A healthy inner child can give you a full, creative and joyful life. A wounded one can cause you to repeat past patterns that need to be healed.

We suppress this part of ourselves when we grow up, because we are taught that that is what adults do. No more playtime, no recess, no naps in the grass or chasing butterflies.

When we grow up, we forget how to play. We take life too seriously. Go have some fun today!

Your Angels can help you reach out (or in) to this part of yourself and heal it forever.

Some will say that this is a silly and self-indulgent endeavor, but it can help us resolve so many of our adult issues.

So take a deep breath and go play!
