Saving Face

When someone hurts you, there is often a desire to impress, “one up” them or take another action that brings back our dignity. We call this “saving face.”

While it might feel good in the short term, the action holds you in a lower vibration of caring about what opinion the other holds of you.

Wearing a mask of ego for the purpose of impressing someone who has hurt you creates a lot of unnecessary work.
Wearing a mask of ego for the purpose of impressing someone who has hurt you creates a lot of unnecessary work, and keeps your vibration in a lower place.

The “face” you are saving is an illusion, and maintaining that illusion for one who is unworthy is a huge amount of work. Instead, find those who appreciate and love you just as you are.

Your vibration will rise being in an atmosphere of love, and you will find that you do not have to work as hard when you are around them.
