The Element of Air

The final element is air. Air as you might imagine, is light and can be unpredictable. It is the element of creativity and new innovations. It is the element of joy. Too much air can be annoying and distracting, like that sudden gust of wind that messes up your hair or knocks things over. Too little air can feel stagnant and depressing. We need the lightness of air to balance the heavier elements. The element of air is easy to experience. Simply, go outside on a windy day. Listen to flute music or better yet, learn to play. Feel the change in air pressure around you as your Angels draw near. Breathe deeply and laugh often and have fun...

Feeling the Burn: The Element of Fire

When humankind discovered how to harness the powerful element of fire, everything changed. It enabled us to warm ourselves during long  Ice Age winters, to cook our food and scare away predators. Fire clears away old trees making way for new growth, yet if unchecked can destroy whole forests and homes. Fire energy is the energy of change. When you call in the element of fire, get ready for the ride. Fire can also bring warmth and comfort. The Element of Earth

Are you an Earth sign? Have you been called "down to Earth," or just "Earthy?" Most people seeking higher consciousness, shun the element of Earth, believing that grounding will make them less spiritual. We think of the Earth as Mother because she cares for and provides for us and gives us comfort. Have you ever felt better after touching a tree or digging your toes in the sand? The Divine is present in all things, including the soil, the leaves and the flowers. To connect with this...

Anael's Symbol

The symbol of Archangel Anael, the main Angel I work with, is not just a pretty design. Many have used it for healing and  protection with powerful results. Each part of this symbol has a specific meaning. Each part adds to the strength and power when it is used. In the middle of the symbol is an X. This represents the four elements that have been used in spirituality and ritual for millennia. This week we will discuss the elements and how they affect our world. Tomorrow: Earth.

True Matriarchy

We see the world around us through the lens of our culture and spiritual upbringing. Deviations from the "norm" are seen as a threat and must be subdued. This is currently the experience of many who fear the return of the Feminine Divine. We have never in recent history experienced a true matriarchal society. Yes, there have been women rulers. Yes, they have also had wars during their reigns, but they do not represent a true matriarchy. They are women ruling in a patriarchal society. Most matriarchal societies predate recorded history. We only have artifacts to decipher. But as archeologist uncover more ancient civilizations and question what we thought we knew about others, they are discovering a time when women...
