The Power of Pleiades

Pleiades is a star cluster that resides in the constellation of Taurus and is 444.2 light years away from planet Earth. It is a compilation of more than 800 stars and is still one of the most visible and revered star systems in our Universe.

With hundreds and hundreds of nebulous stars that consist within this powerful system there are seven that particularly stand out. The brightest in this cluster ties to Greek mythology, more specifically, the Seven Sisters.

Pleiades can be seen in the dawn sky during Spring in the Northern Hemisphere, marking the beginning of planting season and seafaring pursuits to the ancients. In some cultures the name that was used to identify “Pleiades” was also the same name used for “Spring”.

This Taurean star cluster was given its name for the seven daughters of the Titan Atlas that were being pursued by Orion. Orion became infatuated with their beauty and fell in love with them, continuing to evade his pursuit. They did not return his affections. Jupiter saw this "cat and mouse" game and decided to turn the sisters into the brightest of Pleiadian stars, all to protect them.

Orion too became a constellation and you can continue to view him chasing the sisters across the night sky.

The names of these seven sisters are Maia, Electra, Alcyone, Taygete, Asterope, Celaeno and Merope. They represent a powerful feminine energy that also correlates strongly to the cycles of death and loss. As Sirius connects strongly to masculine Sun energy, Pleiades connects strongly to the feminine Moon.

This assists us in cutting away and releasing what is no longer needed. This promotes an opportunity to rebuild in the future. It’s what ultimately leads to cooperation and harmony.

In addition to the astrological influence of this star system are also the Pleiadian race of beings connected to the Starseed people of Earth. Individuals who have received special downloads of information and healing from their soul family in the Pleiades constellation that promote healing, well being, and light into planet Earth.

This is the star system and race that I feel closely connected to, having received much guidance and support from them as they have greatly helped with my own healing journey. It was during a Past Life Regression with Morgana Starr that I was able to clearly see my life among them and hear their messages of love and hope.
