We have been taught that anger is a negative emotion. It precedes fighting, violence and the ending of relationships.
Yet anger is only as “bad” as the fear we feed into it and the actions we take surrounding it.
Life will make you angry. Sometimes you won’t get your way. Do you want a moment of fear-based anger to end a romantic relationship or tarnish a friendship in such a way that you can never be close again?
Anger is like fire. Fire is neither good nor bad. It can warm our homes or burn them to the ground, it can light the fuse on a magnificent, inspiring fireworks display, or a deadly bomb.
When you are angry with someone you love, and decide to express it, you are betting that they will see it your way and that you will feel vindicated and filled with the feeling of “being right.”
This is a cheap high that will soon fade, and if you were “right” then they would be “wrong,” feeling vindictive and angry towards you, allowing the anger to recirculate and gain strength.
There are ways to transmute anger into something useful. Your Angels will be happy to help you with this if you ask them. Your angry feelings can become passion for your work, energy for your workout or creativity to share with the world.
Would you give all that up to be “right?”
